On April 18, 2023, the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation (YIIM), in collaboration with Genta Saraswati School, Gianyar, Bali, and supported by PT Insight Investments Management, held a tree seedling planting assistance program at the Kemenuh Monkey River area, Gianyar Regency, Bali, in commemoration of Earth Day on April 22, 2023. This activity was also carried out in cooperation with the Education and Culture Office and the Environmental Service of the Gianyar Regency Government.

Carrying the theme “An Action To Save The Earth (We Love, We Care, We Save)”, 200 tree seedlings were planted by students of Genta Saraswati School. This activity also aimed to provide knowledge to the younger generation about the importance of environmental preservation. The planting was carried out around the Kemenuh Monkey River area in Gianyar. The beneficiaries of this activity were the people of Kemenuh Village around the Kemenuh River Gianyar area. This environmental conservation program is a form of social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) or corporate social responsibility (CSR) from INSIGHT to the community. This program is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG Number 15 on life on land and SDG Number 17 on partnerships for the goals.

The tree seedling handover ceremony was attended by Prof. DR. dr. Anak Agung Ngurah Subawa, M. Si, Chair of the Supervisory Board of the PR Saraswati Foundation Denpasar; I Gd. Putu Ngurah Yudiatmika, S. Pt, M. M, Supervisor of the PR Saraswati Foundation Denpasar; A. A Gde Waisnawa Putra S. H., M. M, Chair of the PR Saraswati Foundation Gianyar; A A Wisnu Wardhana, President Commissioner of PT Insight Investments Management; Ida Bagus Nyoman Parta, Head of Kemenuh Hamlet; Ida Bagus Made Witara, Chair of the Bupda / Management of the Monkey River Destination; and the Bendesa together with the traditional officials of the Kemenuh Customary Village.

The event began at 08:30 WITA with the handover ceremony of tree seedlings by A. A Gde Waisnawa Putra S. H., M. M, Chair of the PR Saraswati Foundation Gianyar, to representatives of Kemenuh Monkey River Gianyar.

In his remarks, A. A Gde Waisnawa Putra S. H., M. M, Chair of the PR Saraswati Foundation Gianyar, stated, “Thank you to PT Insight Investments Management and the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation for supporting environmental conservation activities in the Gianyar area. Hopefully, this activity will bring benefits to the students of Genta Saraswati School Gianyar in protecting the environment and can inspire other communities. May YIIM and INSIGHT continue to spread inspiration for the people of Indonesia.”

The Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation, as a non-profit institution, is open to all parties who wish to support or provide donations in any form. Therefore, every donation given to YIIM will be directly distributed to beneficiaries in need and to those who are less fortunate.
