In welcoming the blessed holy month of Ramadan, on May 11, 2021, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), with the steadfast support of its principal partner PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), distributed copies of the Holy Qur’an, Iqro learning books, prayer rugs (sajadah), and staple food packages to the Al-Ikhwaniyah Orphanage for Girls, located on Jalan Panti Asuhan No. 73, Kampung Ceger, RT 08/RW 05, Jurangmangu Barat Urban Village, Pondok Aren District, South Tangerang City, Banten.

This social outreach formed part of the “Ramadan Inspiration for Humanity” initiative held throughout Ramadan to share goodwill, optimism, and solidarity with marginalized communities.

Prior to this event, YIIM and INSIGHT had mobilized community volunteers and entrepreneurship alumni for a series of Ramadan charity activities, including prayer gear distribution for persons with disabilities, support for orphans in care homes, and meal distributions along with takjil refreshments for informal workers.

The Al-Ikhwaniyah Ceger Orphanage currently shelters 15 resident orphaned and underprivileged girls. In addition to daily housing and religious mentoring provided by the caregivers, the children—who mostly originate from Tangerang and Bogor—are enrolled in formal schooling.

The distributed relief package comprised 10 copies of the Qur’an, 10 Iqro study books, 20 prayer rugs, and essential staple groceries including rice, instant noodles, eggs, cooking oil, canned sardines, biscuits, and milk.

This humanitarian effort supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably Goal 2: Zero Hunger, Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

The aid was delivered directly on-site by YIIM Program Manager, Achmad Fanani Rosyidi, and received with warm appreciation by the Head of Al-Ikhwaniyah Orphanage, Mrs. Hafifi.

“We express our deepest appreciation for this timely and valuable assistance from YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management. This support substantially helps meet the needs of our girls, especially as Eid al-Fitr approaches when household expenses rise. May this aid bring abundant blessings to all donors. Amen,” shared Mrs. Hafifi gratefully.

Meanwhile, representing PT Insight Investments Management, Dwi Laksmi Anggita Sari conveyed her hopes for the children’s well-being and worship: “Modest though it may be, we hope this support eases the daily needs of the children and brings spiritual joy and blessing, particularly during this holy month of Ramadan.”

As a non-profit organization, YIIM remains committed to transparency and open collaboration with all donor partners. Every donation received is channeled directly to vulnerable and underprivileged groups, including impoverished families, pandemic-impacted households, correctional clients, and disadvantaged communities across Indonesia.

Salam Inspirasi!
