Provision of Food Supplies and Worship Equipment for Children at Sa’adatud Daraain Orphanage, Kebon Jeruk
Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), in synergy with PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), delivered prayer equipment, Holy Qur'an copies, and basic staple food packages to children at Sa'adatud Daraain Orphanage, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.
Welcoming the auspicious spirit of Ramadan, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), in synergy with its primary corporate partner PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), conducted a humanitarian initiative entitled "Ramadan Inspiration for Humanity." On April 23, 2021, YIIM disbursed social assistance to the Sa’adatud Daraain Orphanage, situated on Jalan Sasak II No. 51, Kelapa Dua, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.
The aid package encompassed 10 copies of the Holy Qur’an, 10 Iqro learning books, 20 prayer rugs, and substantial food staple packages (sembako). A total of 30 resident orphans originating from Sukabumi, Bogor, and Parung Panjang benefited directly from this intervention. The food aid is estimated to meet the daily nutritional needs of the children for the next three months.
This tangible intervention directly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1: No Poverty and SDG 2: Zero Hunger.
The assistance was delivered directly by Satoto Biratmoko, Treasurer of the YIIM Executive Board, to H. Ruslan, S.Pd.I., Head of the Sa’adatud Daraain Orphanage.
During the handover ceremony, H. Ruslan conveyed his appreciation: "We extend our deepest gratitude to YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management for their compassion and generous aid to our orphans. We hope this initiative will motivate wider society to support the orphaned youth cared for at Sa’adatud Daraain Orphanage. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, donor contributions have dropped considerably. May this bring blessings, and may YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management flourish."
Located in a densely populated urban setting with limited amenities, Sa’adatud Daraain Orphanage remains steadfast in nurturing values of sincerity, humility, and self-reliance among its foster children. Utilizing CSR allocations from PT Insight Investments Management, YIIM continually reaffirms its dedication to addressing pressing socioeconomic issues.
As an independent non-profit foundation, YIIM invites public and corporate collaborators to partake in its humanitarian efforts. Every donation received is directly channeled to deserving recipients—including disadvantaged families, Covid-19-impacted citizens, prison inmates undergoing rehabilitation, and vulnerable demographics across the country.
