The Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation (YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) and its investor partners from Invesnow, distributed Ramadan iftar aid packages to orphans and the underprivileged at the Ishlahul Hayat Orphanage Foundation, located at Jl. Keramat No. 45 RT 01/RW 05, Pondok Petir Village, Bojongsari District, Depok City, West Java Province, on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

The Ramadan iftar aid consisted of financial donations for 30 orphans and 100 iftar packages containing boxed rice and takjil, as well as 100 Ramadan gift packages containing an assortment of light snacks, milk, and biscuits. This aid was distributed to 130 orphans and underprivileged community members living around the orphanage.

This event aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, specifically SDG Number 2 on Zero Hunger.

Attending the event from the organizing partners were Mrs. Ria Warganda, Director of PT Insight Investments Management, along with her staff, Mr. Syamsul Rizal, Director of Invesnow, along with his staff, and Mrs. Dewi Astari, Secretary of the Board of the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation, along with her staff. Also present was the host, Ustad Agus Supriatna, representing the Ishlahul Hayat Orphanage, along with its administrators. The event was attended by 30 orphans residing at the orphanage dormitory and 15 foundation administrators, starting at 2:00 PM WIB and concluding with the distribution of iftar packages to residents around the orphanage.

On this occasion, Mrs. Ria Warganda, Director of PT Insight Investments Management, stated:

“The Ramadan blessing aid program for orphans and the underprivileged at the Ishlahul Hayat Orphanage in Depok is part of the social action program carried out during Ramadan by PT Insight Investments Management together with our Invesnow partner and YIIM, in line with our company tagline, ‘Transforming Investment To Social Impact’. This activity is also a form of social investment for the future of our young generation to ensure they are always cared for. We hope this event can provide inspiration and blessings for all.”

Following that, Mr. Syamsul Rizal, Director of Invesnow, also delivered his remarks:

“Thank you for the wonderful welcome from the administrators and children of the Ishlahul Hayat Orphanage in Depok. In this blessed month of Ramadan, we are truly delighted to be sharing with the children of the orphanage. We hope that all of you will become the next generation who will be useful to the nation and country. We hope our assistance can bring benefits.”

In her remarks, Mrs. Dewi Astari, Secretary of the Board of the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation, stated:

“To the honorable main supporting partners of this event from PT Insight Investments Management and Invesnow, as well as the hosts, the administrators of the Ishlahul Hayat Orphanage in Depok, and my beloved younger siblings. This event of giving donations and gifts to the orphanage children is our manifestation of spreading goodness and inspiration in the month of Ramadan, a month full of blessings. Although it may be modest, we hope it will be beneficial, and may we all always be given health. Amen.”

Meanwhile, Ustad Agus Supriatna, an administrator of the Ishlahul Hayat Orphanage in Depok, in his remarks, expressed his gratitude and thankfulness for the organization of this Ramadan blessing aid event.

“Thank you to the Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation and PT Insight Investments Management and Invesnow for giving assistance to our foster children, who are orphans and underprivileged, residing in the orphanage. Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful, and this is more than enough. Thank you for the attention of the donors.”

The Ramadan Blessing Aid Program is part of the 2022 Ramadan program series with the tagline “Ramadan Berkah, Mari Menginspirasi Bersama” (Blessed Ramadan, Let’s Inspire Together) and is planned to be held at 6 (six) locations in the Greater Jakarta area, namely South Jakarta, Depok, Bekasi, Bogor Regency, South Tangerang, and Tangerang Regency. Various activities planned include; sharing iftar packages, takjil, basic food items, worship equipment, free AC cleaning and servicing at mosques and orphanages, and free haircuts.

YIIM, as a non-profit organization, is open to support and cooperation with any party so that more people can benefit from YIIM’s programs and the inspiration YIIM can spread to help build Indonesia.
