On Saturday, April 15, 2023, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), organized a Ramadan Social Assistance program for orphaned and underprivileged children under the care of Yayasan Nurul Yatama (YNY). The heartfelt gathering was hosted at Masjid Jami An’Nur, Pondok Pinang, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. This humanitarian initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2: Zero Hunger and Food Security.

The Ramadan aid was presented to 35 orphans and dhuafa children, comprising 35 nutritious boxed meal iftar packages complete with takjil refreshments, 35 snack hampers, and 35 worship gear packages containing women’s prayer robes (mukena), copies of the Holy Al-Qur’an, prayer caps (peci), sarongs, Iqro learning booklets, and utility backpacks.

Notably, the 35 iftar catering packages were sourced directly from Siti Mulyati, an independent culinary entrepreneur and graduate of YIIM’s 2019 Cooking Training. By integrating alumni into foundation-supported humanitarian relief, YIIM and INSIGHT actively advance a circular empowerment ecosystem, bolstering revenue for alumni-run micro-enterprises.

The aid packages were handed over in person by Dewi Astari, representing the Board of Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun, to Ustadz Drs. H. Baihaqi Madani, M.Pd.I, Head of Yayasan Nurul Yatama, surrounded by the beneficiary children.

In her welcoming remarks, Dewi Astari stated, “This assistance is an integral part of our broader 2023 Ramadan outreach. Supported by PT Insight Investments Management, YIIM has been actively distributing community aid across Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) and Aceh Province since the beginning of the holy month. We pray this support brings genuine comfort and joy, while inspiring society at large to uphold solidarity and compassion for those in need.”

Expressing deep gratitude, Ustadz Drs. H. Baihaqi Madani, M.Pd.I conveyed: “Yayasan Nurul Yatama expresses its heartfelt appreciation for the generous assistance extended by Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun and PT Insight Investments Management to the 35 orphans under our care.
