The Indonesia Inspiring Foundation (Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun/YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management (Insight IM), through its environmental preservation pillar, has provided support to mitigate global warming through research and development of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles to the Apatte62 Team of Universitas Brawijaya. The Apatte62 Team is an energy-efficient car research team that develops vehicles using environmentally friendly fuels to protect the future environment from various emissions that can cause global warming.

In 2025, the Apatte62 Team participated in the Energy-Efficient Car Contest (Kontes Mobil Hemat Energi/KMHE) organized by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology. The 2025 KMHE aims to enhance students’ abilities, creativity, and innovation in the design, development, and construction of energy-efficient cars. On 23 October 2025, 25 people consisting of the core team, media team, support team, and supervising lecturers departed for the 2025 KMHE. The Apatte62 Team achieved remarkable results in the Prototype Category for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Diesel Class: 2nd Place – Apatte62 Brawijaya Team-2 – Universitas Brawijaya, and in the Urban Concept Category for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Gasoline Class: 2nd Place – Apatte62 Brawijaya Team-1 – Universitas Brawijaya.

This environmental preservation program is a form of Social and Environmental Responsibility (Tanggung Jawab Sosial dan Lingkungan/TJSL) or corporate social responsibility (CSR) from Insight IM to the community. It is part of Insight IM’s commitment to supporting innovation and research in environmentally friendly technology and aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 13, namely climate action.

YIIM is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people from various backgrounds, founded by social and humanitarian activists. To achieve this goal, YIIM is open to all forms of cooperation from all parties so that assistance can be channeled to beneficiaries in need.
