Scholarship students delivering Ramadan assistance at Graha Yatim Yogyakarta

On Saturday, 23 March 2024, the Indonesian Inspiration Building Foundation (YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management in collaboration with LPP Polytechnic Yogyakarta, held a GEMPITA Ramadan donation event for children at the Graha Yatim Orphanage on Jalan Parangtritis No. 178A, Mantrijeron, Yogyakarta.

The aid distributed included 70 portions of takjil and boxed meals for breaking the fast, staple food packages containing sugar, cooking oil, rice, instant noodles, and biscuits, as well as educational financial assistance for 30 orphan and underprivileged children residing at the shelter.

This social action was initiated, planned, and organized directly by ten scholarship recipient students from the Inspiration Scholarship program—a partnership between YIIM and Insight Investments Management at LPP Polytechnic Yogyakarta. In addition to organizing the program, the scholarship students led ice-breaking games, quizzes, and group prayers with the children, creating a warm and joyous atmosphere of togetherness.

Kukuh, a representative of the LPP Polytechnic campus Islamic spiritual organization (UKI), expressed gratitude for the collaboration and appreciated the active involvement of the scholarship students in giving back to the community during the holy month of Ramadan.

This initiative reflects YIIM and Insight’s commitment to nurturing scholarship recipients not only as academically accomplished students, but also as leaders who embody social empathy and active civic participation.

The Ramadan giving initiative contributes to Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 2: Zero Hunger, SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Inspiration Greetings!
