On December 16 and 17, 2020, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), alongside its primary partner PT Insight Investments Management, continued its humanitarian outreach tour under the Social Assistance Across the Archipelago initiative, providing aid to vulnerable communities in Gorontalo Regency and Gorontalo City, Gorontalo Province.

PT Insight Investments Management is an investment management company demonstrating high dedication to realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in compliance with Presidential Regulation No. 59 of 2017 regarding the Implementation of Achieving the SDGs.

This relief operation in Gorontalo specifically focused on SDG 1: No Poverty and SDG 2: Zero Hunger.

Through innovative, socially responsible mutual funds, Insight's investors not only enjoy investment yields but also generate tangible social impact via dedicated social programs embedded in those funds, which are implemented in partnership with Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun.

For the residents of Gorontalo Regency and Gorontalo City, the aid comprised 100 complete grocery packages containing rice, eggs, cooking oil, instant noodles, sugar, health vitamins, and face masks.

Recipients were drawn from underprivileged backgrounds, low-income families, laid-off workers, small merchants, informal wage earners, and community survivors affected by the Covid-19 crisis.

Apridon Zaini, coordinator of the local distribution committee, conveyed heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate intervention of PT Insight Investments Management and Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun.

Apridon stated: "Many community members have been severely impacted by Covid-19; purchasing power plummeted, small businesses faltered, and numerous workers were laid off, causing a disastrous domino effect."

"This assistance significantly relieves the community's burden, providing vital food security and sustenance for the next one to two months," Apridon added.

Heartfelt messages of gratitude and appreciation from the local beneficiaries were captured in video documentation shared with the public.

Meanwhile, Dwi Laksmi Anggita Sari, representing PT Insight Investments Management, expressed Insight's genuine care in easing the burdens of affected communities, particularly in fulfilling nutritional food security during the Covid-19 pandemic.
