Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), with the generous support of PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), collaborated with the Malang Class I Correctional Center (Balai Pemasyarakatan / BAPAS Malang) to organize vehicle steam wash entrepreneurship training. Held on March 3, 2023, at the Griya Abhipraya Building, the program was tailored for correctional clients (former inmates) to foster social reintegration and economic self-sufficiency. This initiative is closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 1 (No Poverty), Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

The vocational workshop engaged five correctional clients from BAPAS Malang, taking place from 09:00 to 14:00 WIB at the Griya Abhipraya Facility located in Jurangrejo, Pandansari Village, Pujon District, Batu City / Malang Regency, East Java Province.

Participants received comprehensive theoretical instruction from experienced trainers, covering tool and material identification for vehicle steam washing, standardized washing and drying techniques, tire polishing procedures, and commercial steam wash business operations. Following the classroom segment, trainees engaged in direct practical sessions operating electric dynamo steam equipment and practicing standardized vehicle cleaning techniques. Complementing the capacity-building sessions, YIIM and INSIGHT donated complete business equipment kits to support BAPAS Malang's commercial enterprise unit. The donation package included one unit of a steam wash compressor machine, an electric dynamo, high-pressure hoses, sprayers, synthetic chamois cloths, application brushes, cleaning brushes, specialized vehicle shampoo, and tire polishing solution.

The ceremony was attended by Suprianto, Head of the General Affairs Subdivision at BAPAS Malang and Lead Coordinator of Griya Abhipraya, along with Achmad Fanani Rosyidi, Program Manager of YIIM. This initiative marks a milestone in the sustained partnership established between YIIM and BAPAS Malang since 2021, realizing strategic follow-up plans formulated in joint coordination sessions.

In his welcoming address, Suprianto expressed heartfelt appreciation: "Our deepest gratitude goes to YIIM and PT INSIGHT for organizing this vehicle steam wash training for BAPAS Malang clients and providing essential business equipment grants. This initiative significantly bolsters our developmental activities at Griya Abhipraya as part of BAPAS Class I Malang's reintegration agenda.
