On June 16, 2022, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) through its Education Program in partnership with Universitas Bahaudin Mudhary Madura (UNIBA Madura), organized an Entrepreneurship and Investment Webinar.

This webinar reflects the enduring commitment of YIIM and INSIGHT, backed by Madura United Football Club, recognizing the vital importance of fostering financial literacy, prudent investing habits, and social entrepreneurship among the academic community and the broader public. The initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

The event was conducted in a hybrid format, hosted at the UNIBA Madura Auditorium and broadcast virtually via Zoom Meeting. A total of 106 participants attended, representing university students, YIIM scholarship recipients, and budding young entrepreneurs. Notably, the organizing committee comprised UNIBA Madura students who are active recipients of the YIIM and INSIGHT Educational Inspiration Scholarship. Since 2018, YIIM and INSIGHT have awarded higher education scholarships to 40 students at UNIBA Madura.

The webinar featured Annisa Zhafarina, Chief Operating Officer of Madura United, as keynote speaker, alongside two distinguished resource persons: Suluh Tripambudi Rahardjo, Head of the CSR Team at PT Insight Investments Management, and Achmad Fanani Rosyidi, Program Manager at YIIM. The session was expertly moderated by Achmad Zuhri, Management Lecturer at UNIBA Madura.

Opening the forum, the Rector of UNIBA Madura, Prof. Dr. H. Rachmad Hidayat, stated: "This Entrepreneurship and Investment Webinar is an extraordinary opportunity for students to acquire applied knowledge. We urge all students to make the absolute most of today’s session. It is a prime moment to absorb practical expertise from prominent practitioners. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to YIIM and PT Insight Investments Management for their steadfast support of higher education at UNIBA Madura."

In the opening presentation, Suluh Tripambudi Rahardjo explained the essentials of financial literacy, demystifying capital markets and safe, systematic mutual fund investing tailored for college students. The second presentation was delivered by Achmad Fanani Rosyidi, who unpacked social entrepreneurship frameworks and demonstrated how youth can initiate impact-driven businesses that stimulate local economies. Keynote speaker Annisa Zhafarina then capped the session with an inspiring account of managing commercial strategy and sports business operations for Madura United Football Club.

The webinar proceeded dynamically over two and a half hours, running from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM WIB. Participants showed high enthusiasm, raising practical questions ranging from startup business fundamentals to risk management in mutual funds. In recognition of their active participation, engaging students were awarded special commemorative giveaways by the committee.

Through this seminar series, YIIM and INSIGHT hope participants mastered the principles of safe financial investing while igniting a vibrant social entrepreneurship spirit among youth, inspiring them to become impactful community leaders. Ongoing collaboration between YIIM, INSIGHT, and higher education institutions remains vital to shaping an empowered future.
