The Posyandu Kencana I Empowerment Program is a concrete manifestation of Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun’s (YIIM) core mission to help communities improve their standard and quality of life. A fundamental aspect of enhancing community well-being is ensuring access to comprehensive, proper, and reliable health screening facilities at the grassroots level.

On June 17, 2019, YIIM handed over health screening support equipment to both the Toddler Posyandu (Integrated Healthcare Center for Children) and Elderly Posyandu of Kencana I, situated in a densely populated neighborhood in Petogogan, South Jakarta.

As of May 2019, Posyandu Balita Kencana I actively monitored the health and development of 94 registered toddlers, providing vital nutritional support for children diagnosed with nutritional deficiencies as well as acute malnutrition and stunting. Meanwhile, Posyandu Lansia Kencana I routinely serves 50 elderly patients through periodic health checks and screenings.

Through the empowerment of Posyandu and the provision of essential healthcare equipment, YIIM hopes that frontline preventive healthcare services will be significantly strengthened, delivering lasting benefits in elevating public health standards and community well-being.
