The Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun Foundation (YIIM), supported by PT Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT), provides educational scholarships through one of its flagship programs. This is a commitment to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Number 4, which is quality education and ensuring equitable education and supporting learning opportunities for all.

YIIM and INSIGHT are proud to present the profile of a scholarship beneficiary, Aulia Syahfitriani, affectionately known as Aulia. Aulia is a 5th semester student majoring in Broadcasting at the Interstudi School of Communication Sciences. She has received an educational scholarship from YIIM and INSIGHT since her first semester. In this semester, she has achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.88.

After completing high school, she was unable to pursue a university education due to her family’s economic situation. To secure a better future and help her parents, Aulia never gave up on searching for and securing a scholarship.

Aulia is an only child. Her father is a music artist whose income was adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and is currently at home due to a lack of performance engagements. Her mother is a stay-at-home mother and also a social worker.

Upon receiving the educational scholarship from YIIM and INSIGHT, Aulia did not waste the opportunity to develop herself.

She participates in many activities both on and off campus. On campus, she serves as the Head of Division 1 for HIPMI Interstudi, and she is also often trusted to be a host/moderator at various campus events, including the Interstudi Cinematography Student Activity Unit. She is also active in student activities and is a member of the campus radio station, Interadio. Off campus, Aulia often participates as a talent for the national TV station, TVRI, during events like the Youth Pledge Day and Heroes’ Day.

Besides being active in campus activities, she also has a high social concern and has been involved several times in social activities conducted by YIIM and INSIGHT. One of these was her involvement in a book collection drive for children in pre-prosperous areas and schools in remote regions. This reflects Aulia’s dedication to playing a role in improving education in Indonesia.

Aulia, along with the HIPMI PT Interstudi organization and supported by BKKBN and Telkom, carried out a community service activity called “Sahabat Desa SDGs” for a village in Cianjur, West Java. The activity aimed to develop the village into a digital village and support it through business opportunity incubation.

Aulia is currently interning at Global Radio Jakarta as an Assistant Producer. This 21-year-old woman dreams of becoming a TV announcer and hopes to make her parents happy and be useful to those around her. Additionally, she hopes to continue participating in social activities with YIIM and INSIGHT.

Aulia expressed her hopes for YIIM and INSIGHT.

“Thank you to YIIM and INSIGHT for trusting me with the educational scholarship assistance provided. This scholarship has been a bridge for me to achieve my dreams. I hope that through this inspiration scholarship, YIIM and INSIGHT will continue to spread kindness and inspiration to underprivileged people across Indonesia who are eager to pursue education but are constrained by financial limitations.”

In order to realize the dreams of the younger generation for a better future, YIIM, as a non-profit organization, is open to anyone who wishes to support the provision of educational scholarships for economically disadvantaged children who excel academically.
