On April 6, 2021, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) and the Witness and Victim Protection Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (LPSK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding Psychosocial Rehabilitation for LPSK-Protected Witnesses and Victims. This signing ceremony formalized the ongoing collaboration between YIIM and LPSK initiated in 2020. The official ceremony was held at the LPSK Headquarters located on Jl. Raya Bogor KM. 24 No. 47-49, RT.6/RW.1, Ciracas District, East Jakarta.

Since September 2020, YIIM has collaborated with LPSK to provide entrepreneurship training to victims of crime protected by LPSK. These vocational courses aim to equip protected persons with self-reliance skills to embark on independent entrepreneurship. The training provided has spanned professional coffee barista courses, barbering, air conditioning servicing and cleaning, culinary arts, and cosmetology. Furthermore, in February and March 2021, YIIM also provided school kits and healthcare supplies to children of LPSK-protected individuals.

This empowerment program directly advances the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

The MoU was signed directly by Mr. Chrisbiantoro as Chairperson of YIIM and Mr. Hasto Atmojo Suroyo as Chairperson of LPSK RI, attended by LPSK Deputy Chairpersons and executive leadership.

In his address, Mr. Chrisbiantoro stated: "YIIM is deeply honored by the partnership established thus far, and this MoU signifies our dedicated commitment to building an even stronger collaboration in empowering LPSK-protected individuals. We hope this synergistic cooperation touches the lives of many more witnesses and victims so that they can achieve sustainable economic empowerment."

Chris added: "May this empowerment program produce lasting social impact for witnesses and victims protected by LPSK. YIIM aspires to serve as an active civil society partner supporting LPSK in delivering holistic psychosocial rehabilitation."

Meanwhile, Mr. Hasto Atmojo Suroyo noted in his welcoming remarks: "Our gratitude goes to YIIM for this fruitful partnership. LPSK has observed many protected persons who have benefited from these entrepreneurial classes, with several having already established their own independent micro-businesses. This represents significant progress in psychosocial rehabilitation services, which inherently rely on support from diverse stakeholders, including Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun."
