On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, as part of the “Blessed Ramadhan Let’s Inspire Together” program, the Indonesian Building Inspiration Foundation (YIIM) together with PT Insight Investments Management provided social humanitarian assistance in the form of iftar packages and donations for orphans in the Kebayoran Baru District area. This program aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Number 2 on ending hunger and SDGs Number 17 on partnerships for the goals.

A total of 50 iftar packages, consisting of takjil and free food, were distributed to informal workers and online motorcycle taxi drivers around Grand Wijaya, South Jakarta. In addition to the iftar package distribution, a free haircut activity was also held for community members and online motorcycle taxi drivers. The free haircuts were performed by Hermanto and Ageng, alumni of the YIIM and INSIGHT barber training program, as a form of social service to the community. Furthermore, the iftar packages were also prepared and cooked by the 2019 culinary training alumna, Mrs. Wanmayetti, and the 2021 culinary training alumna, Mrs. Sainah.

On the same day, YIIM supported by INSIGHT also provided 50 iftar packages and donations for 15 orphans. The handover ceremony was presented directly by YIIM representatives to the Chairman of the Prosperity Council (DKM) of Nurul Mubin Mosque, located at Jl. Petogogan I Gang II, RT 10 RW 11, RT.1/RW.12, Gandaria Utara, Kby. Baru District, South Jakarta.

As part of this Ramadhan program series, an iftar gathering was also held with the YIIM management, supervisors, and advisors, as well as donors and partners. Meanwhile, INSIGHT was represented by Mrs. Arin. From YIIM, in addition to the Chairman of the Management Chrisbiantoro, the event was also attended by YIIM Supervisor Mrs. Inka Sarina Melayu and YIIM Advisors Dr. Mery T.P. Hutagalung and Mr. Ghufran Ilman Maliki.A.

The event was also attended by partners and donors including the Plantation Pension Fund (DAPENBUN), the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK), and the Indonesian Thalassemia Foundation (YTI). This iftar gathering was also attended by representatives of the entrepreneurial class alumni under YIIM and INSIGHT, namely alumni from the barista class, barber class, culinary class, and makeup class.

The event began with a speech from the Chairman of YIIM Management, Chrisbiantoro. In his remarks, Mr. Chrisbiantoro stated, “YIIM expresses its gratitude to INSIGHT as our main partner and other partners who continue to trust and support humanitarian programs, especially during this Ramadhan month. This Blessed Ramadhan program is a routine program that YIIM organizes every year to share with others. May YIIM continue to spread goodness, provide benefits, and inspire through our programs.”
