Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) conducted Baking Class Batch 3 culinary training on dim sum making for 20 participants in Jakarta to equip them with skills for independent food micro-enterprises.

On September 7, 2019, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) held a baking class training (cooking class) batch 3. The batch 3 baking class training was free and open to the general public. The batch 3 baking class activity, which took place at the YIIM office, was attended by 20 participants from various areas around Jakarta. The recipe for the batch 3 baking class was making various dim sum (bapao and siomay), which was first explained by professional Chef Azizah through class materials and then followed by hands-on practice on how to make it. In addition to the baking class activity, a grant was also given to a previous batch participant, Mrs. Sri Suharti, who is currently running a donut business inspired by selling after completing the batch 2 baking class training at YIIM.
It is hoped that with the easy recipe, baking class training participants can practice it at home. Through the baking class activity, YIIM wants to support the community’s enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, so as to improve the economy of the participants present and improve their standard of living.
Salam Inspirasi!
